Our history in brief
TRBusiness magazine, founded in 1997, is the genuine leading monthly title for the duty free/travel retail industry. With Managing Editor Charlotte Turner at the helm, TRBusiness magazine prides itself on its no-nonsense analysis and interpretation of global industry events as they happen. Our experienced editorial team reports the news in a creative, easy-to-read style for both mother tongue and international English-speaking readers.
TRBusiness, is also independent. Doug Newhouse, [former] Editorial Director; Nigel Hardy, International Sales & Marketing Director; and Janice Hook, Financial Director successfully completed a management buy out of the company in July 2004.

TRBusiness has been likened to ‘The Economist’ or ‘International Herald Tribune’ for this industry. Today’s busy executive does not have time to wade through numerous product-orientated magazines that land on their desks each month.
