YSL Beauté Travel Retail Asia Pacific has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to host its first 60-minute outdoor live-streaming event at CDFG’s Yizhibo platform.
Set on a poolside in Sanya, travellers enjoyed a virtual catwalk beauty show featuring the launch of Le Cushion Encre de Peau, YSL Beauté’s best-selling cushion upgraded in a couture-designed case. The 60-minute livestream attracted over 12.5 million viewers on the platform.
With live poolside music setting the ambience, the virtual catwalk beauty show begun started with two top influencers, Ivy and Suye, shortly after a venue tour.
The show featured the two influencers’ live application of Le Cushion Encre de Peau, which is now available for purchase at the Haikou Mova Store to complete a long-lasting luminous matte and moisturising finished party look. This must-have accessory also has an edgy couture-designed case.
PRODUCT REVENUE AND BEAUTY-TALK SESSION
A product review and beauty-talk session then took place, during which Ivy and CDFG hosts reviewed and demonstrated a range of YSL Beauté’s makeup products and fragrances. Star products featured included Top Secrets Instant Moisture Glow, Rouge Pur Couture The Slim and Libre.
Dressed in black chevron leather, Le Cushion Encre de Peau takes inspiration from YSL’s haute couture. This nomad foundation cushion compact provides a long-lasting moisturising sensation and luminous matte finish in one stamp application.
The cushion is ideal for travelling with it’s stamp applicator ‘perfect’ for on-the-go touchups, according to the company.
