Rituals is reminding consumers of the conviviality and joy associated with gift giving during the holiday season with activations at Amsterdam Schiphol and Munich Airports.
‘The Gift of Happiness’ campaign is designed to lift spirits through important gestures to loved ones, as travel retail concludes one of the most turbulent years on record.
Running over a six-week period, The Gift of Happiness campaign features an eight-metre-tall Christmas tree adorned with 700 baubles and 250 decorations situated at the main plaza at Schiphol Airport.
Music and fragrance notes heighten the experience for travellers and staff, with further engagement via an Instagram contest inviting travellers to leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning a large Rituals’ gift set.

Neil Ebbutt, Director – Global Travel Retail at Rituals, commented: “As we conclude a very challenging year during which so many people have been separated from family and friends, it’s more important than ever to remember those relationships that are dear to us and to show gratitude to loved ones.
“In collaboration with our close partners at Schiphol and Munich airports, we are happy to be able to spread some end of year joy and positivity with our Gift of Happiness campaign.
“Whatever the reason for travelling this festive period, we hope that passengers will take a few moments to slow down, reflect on the important things in life and experience the joy of gift giving.”
